The Queen's Head is a wonderful corner 'local'
pub, where passion for good beer is reflected in the excellent quality of
all eight cask ales on tap: Crouch Best, Brewers Gold,
Amarillo and Essex Boys Bitter plus four ever-changing guest beers from craft, micro and
regional brewers, including beers rarely found in the area.
A recent refurbishment has retained the character of the pub while offering various areas within the pub, from 'bare boards' to comfortable bench seating and tables for dining from the pub menu. On the subject of food, you will find it basic, hearty and wholesome in the classic no-frills, alehouse style.
